The ACL is an important ligament that stabilizes the knee and controls joint movements. ACL injuries caused by high-paced sports activities, sports injuries or trauma usually cause symptoms such as severe pain, swelling and loss of stability of the knee.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anterior cruciate ligament repair is the process of rebuilding or repairing the injured ACL. This is usually performed with a minimally invasive technique called arthroscopy. An orthopedic surgeon usually uses the patient&#8217;s own tissue or donor tissue to repair or rebuild the injured ACL in the knee joint.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim of this operation is to restore stability to the knee and help the patient return to normal activities. Physical therapy and rehabilitation is an important part of the post-surgical process and helps the patient regain muscle strength, range of motion and function of the knee.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anterior cruciate ligament repair is important to improve the patient&#8217;s quality of life and maintain long-term knee health.
